A memorandum of understanding has been signed between IDIT and Microsoft Georgia

Today, July 14, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Microsoft and Institute for Development of Information Technologies (IDIT). Microsoft and IDIT will collaborate within the program Product Donations.
This program is implemented by Microsoft all over the world and Non-governmental organizations will be awarded company licensed programs at a symbolic price. In Georgia, IDIT will implement and coordinate the process.
Event was opened by Nikoloz Doborjginidze, General Director of Microsoft Georgia. He spoke about company’s mission and importance of Product Donation for Global scope. As for, George Gvasalia, executive director of IDIT, informed the audience about the goals and activities of the organization. After that, both parties signed memorandum of understanding.
The second part of the event was completely about Product Donations program. Giorgi Gvasalia in his presentation explained details of the stages of participation in the program, the criteria and the specifics of purchasing and using the products, which the beneficiaries can receive within the program.
The event was attended by representatives of the non-governmental sector, and after the presentation, the discussion was held in a question/answer format.
